A couple of weeks back, in an attempt to cram fenders and Jack Browns
onto the Roadeo I finally laid down my $10 and bought a set of
sheldon's fender nuts. At first glance and a hand fit, it looks like

I don't know any shops, but will second M.B. in saying that Dreamy
Draw is a GREAT place to hike or meander about on bike. REI in PHX
has a pretty good map showing the Mountain Preserve and a second one
showing South Mountain.

My bike collection is becoming a bit more focused, and I'm finding the
Bombadil will be better suited in a new home. Its a beautiful frame
that just did not get the use I hoped it would have. The frame, bar
and headset are part of the sale. The frame rates a 9.5/10 and bars a
10.
When I was riding the Paris-Motos last fall I don't think I completed
a single ride of 30 miles or more without a flat, sometimes more than
one. I'll try them again in the spring and hope for fewer goatheads
on the roads. I've had way fewer flats on skinnier tires. My guess
is the wider tires
