crazy cool.

I asked John about what you are talking about. Not necessarily that the
colors of Toyo were not as impressive than the Waterford but I did notice in
looking at the site that when you look at the last photos on Atlantis, the
colors appear more vibrant versus the older photos. Even when when you

I do not hate the color at all. The greenish blue is nice but I guess I do
not want to be the norm and get a bicycle that has the same color as every

I am loving my 40mm Kenda Kwick Roller EZ rides for mixed riding.
Folding bead, light weight (~400g?) black sidewall, low rolling
resistance. Unfortunately discontinued last fall, but worth searching
for. Cheap, too. Oops, prob. won't fit on a Road Standard?

I use Jan Heine's article as a guide, but usually end up running a

Thanks for the suggestion of the Soma New Xpress tires! Those tires
look like they would be perfectly suited for off-road riding around
here, and they should fit my Rivendell Road Standard (which will only

Thanks,

I took another look at the tire and found a 2 inch piece of wire
protruding out of the inside of the side wall (I didn't notice it
while fixing the flat last night in the dark). It appears to me that
it may be part of the wire bead, not some debree picked up on the
street. Thanks for your help.
Glad it was!
