Ha! I never saw the speculation that it would have a third (disc) brake. It
looks really cool, and I I'd like it even more if they put three sets of
rim brakes on it, just for fun. Did you ride the built up sample?

I think I know what you mean about that half-standing position; I often use
it too (or did when I rode more in hilly off road) for sudden torque
increases on inclines that wouldn't let you stand all the way up.

Very limited, current production and under 100 USD. I use Pauls, 559's, and
old but very clean Mafac Raids which have the best clearance. I've tried
the dia-comps 610 I think, bought them from Riv a while back. They flex a
bit but are usable, I think you can snag a pair cheap if you look

I used to be bummed that my Ram didn't have fork braze ons for a front rack.
But i ended up using a small Arkel handlebar-mount bag and discovered that I
like having the bag high, with a visible map pocket, better than a low bag

Please help! I'm setting up a set of new CX-70 brakes on my Sam Hillborne
and can't find the link wires. I called Riv but they don't have
replacements. Would anyone be willing to measure the length of their
CX-70/50 link wire for me (center to center) so I know which replacement

Patrick, I kind of HAVE to stand to climb on my Jones, but it's one of the
early 29 spaceframes that were all about having as short of chainstays as
possible. It took a while to figure out, but the key was setting the saddle
back far enough that it was out of the way when standing. Otherwise.

loop bar’ed Dad bike right now but after seeing Gus
It doesn't really strike me as a "step through" - it's just a curvy/droopy
dropped top tube that gives more standover clearance. As said earlier, a bit
like a Jones spacecraft in that regard. Either way, I love it.
