Although not a hoody, I have found Portland Cycleware long sleeve merino
wool jerseys to be incredibly useful as a daily rider and bike commuter.
They are heavy weight wool. Don’t cause me to itch at all. Look good on the
bike or for a beer afterward. Sooo comfortable warm but never hot.

Where's most of your riding?
A shell as the outermost surface, like a Patagonia Houdini, keeps wind from
causing convective heat loss, staves off some wetness and you will have a
very useful item benefiting you across a wide spectrum of weather and
temperatures when you put it over a range
Hello All, It's been a while since I offered these two bags up for sale.
I'm dropping the price on both. The Medium is Blue and the Large is Olive.
Both are in good condition only used one season. These are the ones with
the non-leather bottom.
Blue Medium - $160 shipped to lower 48

Looks like drop bars would be more at home on this bike. As others have
said, the Alba backsweep makes the cockpit look a bit tight. The bike would
probably handle as intended with a drop bar-type riding position too. Of
course, it really just depends on what you find comfy.

OK, apologies for tangentially-related anecdotes, but I want to name
two other companies that come close in terms of customer service and
general stand-behind-it-ness: Domke and Xtracycle.
Domke makes various camera bags here in the US. Their classics are
thick cotton canvas that aren't waterproof

I like their clothing too Dave, so much so I bought 2 of the Squamish

Thanks for the feedback Edwin. Kevin, it isn't exclusively for riding.
Just need it for life and I spend a lot of time being active outdoors. I
don't tend to buy new stuff often unless I get it used or thrifted so I

Hi All
I know this is not a Rivendell but it is somewhat related and influenced by
Riv.
I am posting my Crust Evasion for sale. Size is M/L or "extra medium" and
color is sunset kiss yellow/orange/pink fade. See the craigslist ad for
more info and mention this group and I'll knock off some

Atom LT I thought was the best. And not even the most expensive! If you can get
it 30% off at reí: good for you.
Let us know what you decide.

Does anyone have an XS SaddleSack they'd like to sell? I used one for years
before it got stolen, and I'd like to try one out again. The cheaper the
better, I'm afraid.
Thanks!

New, and I consider it compatible with my 80 PBH..granted I have a long
torso/short leg build. This has drops on a 0° stem, it's certainly not the size
I would pick if I were doing the standard Noodles/Tallux build. It would work
with a long stem and Bosco/Choco/Billies.
Is it a new or an old Atlantis? I really like the fact that the new 53s run
a 650b wheel. Unfortunately that one is not compatible with my 80 cm PBH.
What I'd still love to find is a 50 cm Hunq, the 2016 revision with 650b
wheels...襤

By the way, this rack is in excellent shape and never been wrecked. I did

Hi Greg,
I haven't noticed if the BB is chamfered. I bought the frame off craigslist
from someone in the East Bay area about 4-5 years ago, so it's possible
that it is your frame.
It's good to get this input from the group, both on the suitability of this
frame for Alba bars (at least for me),

I've ridden it a lot with the cargo fork and varying loads. the crust fork
is no joke. it holds a lot of stuff and doesnt change the handling much at

lifting it... then its really heavy. That said, the bike doesnt

Will do my best to ship everything by end of this week.

If you remember the wheel size, that would be a strong clue to the frame
size. A 5-9 rider could probably ride a 56cm Atlantis or a 58cm. The 56
was the biggest frame size with 26" wheels. The 58cm was the smallest
frame size with 700C wheels. There's very little chance it's a 54.5cm, and
I know Garth. I really like it. The reviews of it are great and it is
exactly what I want. Simple, clean, and durable. And I've owned Arcteryx
stuff over the years and they are no joke about backing their products.

re mark’s height, I’d say he’s about 5-9 or 5-10. I did measure his riv, center
of crank to top of seat tube once, and did not write it down, but 56cm sticks
in my mind. he and I knew little about touring bikes then and did what riv
recommended.
