Thank you Jason and Jon,
I wasn’t sure if the Sams had gained some clearance with the addition of
V/cantilever brakes.
This clarifies it.

Thank you John and Jason,
That makes it very clear.
I wasn’t sure if the Sam’s had gained more clearance with e addition of V/
cantilever brakes.

I’m interested in the tool roll, but the photo link isn’t working for me.
Can you re-post link?

Selling a few things
*Swift Jr. Ranger panniers- *about a year old, but brand new. never
mounted. nice sort of pine greenish color -300$ plus shipping
*Acorn saddlebag- *banana style. has 2 zipped pockets on the side, which is
nice. structurally solid, but definitely shows some wear- 60$ plus
Looking at the construction I’d say it should safely hold well over 65 lbs
although my pup is about reaching the max size that can comfortably fit in
there. I’d say it’s designed for medium sized dogs and a full size Labrador is
about as big as you’d want to ride in there.

Hey Mike,
Thanks for having the sale and still being a presence in the community! I
sent you an email about an hour ago about some of the items, not sure if it
went through or not (it isn't in my sent folder in my email). Let me know
if you got it or not?
Many Thanks,

I have a 58 Canti Sam & a 55 Platty.
I run 700x 40C knobbys on the Sam and sometimes Little Big Ben's. I've run
Schwalbe g-one alrounders too all about 40mm wide or 1.5"
The 55 Platty I run 28 x 2 Schwalbe G1 extra grip knobbys or sometimes
Schwalbe Big Bens
Each about 50 mm wide.

The photos started out strong, and are getting better and better with each
post. Wow, thanks for posting! I'm fortunate to have a lot of cherry and
plum blossom trees here, though these peach blossom trees are blowing my
mind.

Platypus has more generous clearance than the Hillborne - I think the Platy
uses the same fork crown as the Atlantis, though I'm not 100%. Platy will
fit 48's and fenders, while the Hillborne stops at 42's and fenders.
Without fenders its more like 55 vs. 48mm max

Before I order online, does anyone have a pair of the extralight Naches
Pass tires, or some of the extralight 42 mm 650B/26" Schwalbe SV14A tubes?
Note the "A" in the tubes' model designation.
I'm looking for the extra light models of both items.
Thanks.

Specifically, do they each fit the same size tires?
Rivendell is generally conservative with tire sizing on their frames.
Does anyone have a current Sam and Platypus to compare?
Thank you

Hello!
When ordering Squall Sacks (or any Fifth Season bag) I’m limited to the
fabric that the maker has on hand. Most of the colors were not available
at the time of ordering, and there was no eta on when they would be back in
stock. I took the best options that were available to me at that
I have one that seems to match up well with a 38. It is too small for a 42.

I *really* want a Clydesdale fork. I had a bike in mind to put it on, but now
that they’re right in front of me, I can’t decide which to buy. I can only
afford one. My current bike has a 1” steerer (Klunker bike). But it’s an
expensive enough purchase that maybe it makes more sense to get the 1
If the Rivendell model was available when I ordered this I may have went

The bear traps are really nice. There is something about the look of them
