This by the way, but here in usually very dry ABQ, NM it has been raining

over 70% which mean that 45*F + wind felt much colder than at 35%. But a
wool jersey + a wool + nylon cycling jacket kept me over-warm (those wool +

Whoops, mean to add that I've never experimented with neoprene on a bike,
it is curious thing and I wonder about the ability to be warm at the 30
degree rains. I've done some scuba diving and there were special tricks to
keep yourself feeling warm, namely peeing in your wetsuit... There was
Acclimation is a big help. Coming out of winter in Wisconsin (gets to -20
F), a 30-40 degree rainy commute this time of year is not as bad as it is
in the fall. I recommend cold showers to get used to the feeling ;).
You should have something on the outside to at least block the wind. This

Or if you have some Grand Cru 610s in similar 'as new' condition, and you'd
like to trade for PAUL that would be great.

That is a great idea. The rain/air would exchange heat far less than the
ocean, so I would imagine that even if you are wet underneath that you
would remain quite toasty.

I think my biggest limitation for standing while climbing is not the bar
position, but how far forward I can lean my body before running into the
stem. On my Cheviot, I have Albastache bars and I lean forward to the point
where my body hits my bell mounted on the stem, but it's just enough space
To agree and be get a bit more specific, when it comes to Shimano trigger
(aka "RapidFire") shifters, 7-9 speeds is the sweet spot for
interchangeability between shifters and derailleurs. I've got one bike
shifting a 9spd cassette with 9spd shifters and a 7spd derailleur, and
another doing the
+whatever for Voile straps. The itty bitty ones are great for attaching
bags to bars and saddles, and the long ones are great for just about
anything.

Hi Justin. You can definitely mix and match. You can use pretty much any
Shimano trigger shifter with any Shimano rear derailleur as long as the
number of shifter speeds corresponds to the number of cassette gears. There
are a few exceptions, like vintage Shimano or too low or too high number
I've always used friction shifters but am thinking about putting a trigger
shifter on a new cargo bike build. So apologies in advance if this is a
stupid question, but...Do you have to use the corresponding rear
derailleur/groupset for a particular shifter? Or can you mix and match?

This is a pair of RAL EX Loader panniers. The bright pink is no longer

These can mount front or rear.

Josia, that looks like a tough ride! Your Gus must be a perfect bike for
such conditions. Good luck finding your ideal setup.
Richard, another Gus photo on snow! It should be a fun bike to ride

You received this message because you
John's straps are the same as the classic Arno straps. If you don't need
the rainbow version, you can get them in black for cheap by the pair at
scamazon or wherever. I used to be able to get them at my Ace Hardware.

This is super helpful, thanks for sending! I would def prefer the
Crumbworks bar but as you mentioned they’re hard/impossible to find right
now. I’m second guessing myself on the Mushmans bc I want more backsweep.
These pics really helped thanks again!
