For what it's worth
I take pieces of left over derailleur housing and cut away the plastic
cover then remove the wires leaving lengths of teflon tubing.
I do like to use this teflon tube under the bottom bracket.

The lucky bugger, that would be me. Funny thing, this afternoon I was
chatting with a local gentleman about an RB-2 he had for sale. I was
really only interested in the frame, he was keen on selling the
complete bike. So I put pencil to paper trying to figure out a way of
making the deal

Very informative...and Curtis, those were great photos; seems to have
really captured the mood.
Looks like my new plan is to sit off to side and wait for the majority
