I third the idea of trying friction paste on the seat post to help your
slipping seat post as long as it is the right size seat post. You might
also try a thinner cable hanger such as a surly brake hanger since you are
hitting the seat post with your Nitto brake hanger:

I’m interested in the Mixte idea as well. Sorry in advance for the thread
drift but since we are sort-of talking about this here’s some 25th anniversary
ideas just because it’s fun to think about these things: (Disclaimer - I
am not remotely anywhere close to being a novice on bike design
I use the same Feedback Sports Rakk and its great; it fits up to 2.4" tires
and has a small footprint. Here's the link to the rack on

Thanks for sharing; I enjoyed reading about your adventure and the shadow
selfie was also very clever.

It's probably worth buying an extra basket net with the four hooks in the
future so you have a few more hooks (and backup net as well should that be
needed). It seems like that would be a good route to go if Riv doesn't
sell them separately or if someone here doesn't have any spares.

I'm looking for a 58cm to 61cm Atlantis - complete or frame/fork. If
anyone has one out there that is collecting dust that they'd sell please
let me know. Thank you!
