Marmot, Northface and others have Rainflys that setup alone with just the
poles. If you don't want the tent just take the rainfly shelter and ground
cloth.Gives you the best of both worlds.

I'll me riding with my dad. He's going to be on a Long Haul Trucker, and
I'll be on my orange Quickbeam. It looks like we may see some nice
weather! Of course now that I said that we can expect a monsoon.
I'll be doing the classic Assateague route. I think this will be my third
time riding
they are there and
most cases minimal. (on sunny days when no one is watching)

I've had good luck buying quill stems from LBS's out of junk boxes for 7 to 10
bucks a pop. Find the size you like then go for the lugged version.. :)

Well if I ever get out of Denver and back home I'll measure for you. Just put
one on my Bombadil and didn't notice a difference. At 225lbs it can feel
bouncy at times. Then again I've only got 100 miles on it.. I will know more
after 50 ish mile ride Saturday.

Chose stem length to give me same distance to hooks as brake hoods on noodles
and hooks on albatross.
Yet in doing so center of saddle to center handle bar at stem is 1" longer.
The bars are also an inch to 2 inches lowernthan other bikes.
Be interesting to see how it ends up.

5'11" to 6'. I noticed a label on the center pole for Harris cycle in
Newton, MA. Called them but said records for purchases earlier t
o 3700.
We live Alexandria, VA. I was referred to the group from an online
manufacturer who said that the bike was not bought from them.

They have walk on bike service along the Katy trail. Problem is they say only
2 bikes at a time. Though I've been on the train with as many as 6 bikes that
I saw it makes impossible to plan with them.

Ok so there was only one Edelux using three watt bulbs and qevidently many are
stamped with 2.4 watt.
All three of mine are marked 2.4.
Doesn't matter I love them. Even sold an e3 triple for just enough to buy
another one. Love that light.

tour load on down hill I have had to reach up with one hand to hold hat on.

Had the bike stolen last night. Filedmthe police report, sent photos etc.
Officer came back 10 minutes later put me in the car for a cruise three houses
away. They put the kickstand down and left it. May of lost cheep digital
camera but another memory strikes followed by 40 mile ride ending

I didn't even Brice the rear basket. Imlike the large saddle sack on the rear
better though. I've loaded front o ly front and rear etc.. Handling just dent
change. Solid and responsive.
