[RBW] Re: The "One Bike" for a featherweight?

2018-07-10 Thread Michael, SF/CA
I'm 135 lbs and I own two bikes: Hunqapillar + A. Homer Hilsen. I used to have a San Marcos, but my plan for years was to own exactly these two Rivendells, so I upgraded as a present to myself for landing a new job. As a fellow lightweight, I'd focus on geometry, tire clearance, brake type,

[RBW] Made in Taiwan AHH?

2018-05-06 Thread Michael, SF/CA
FWIW ordered a MUSA AHH in Feb 2018 with expectations set for a full 6-9 month lead time. To my surprise, the frame showed up at RBW two months after Waterford received the order. Yes, I knew about the MIT AHH (and rode the sample at RBWHQ - it’s awesome!) before I put my deposit down, but

I actually found it odd that the frames appeared to be "In Stock" since I knew the made-to-order frames weren't actually sitting in Walnut Creek. With the change in optics, I would now hope that the 63 Roadeo is on a hook in their warehouse, and if I were to put the comically-large-for-me frame

Bought a set of $10 credits on Feb 21, and ordered new bars last night Feb 23. FWIW, the difference between my two order numbers is 2,954! They deserve this response. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. To unsubscribe from
