For you Clem you might be able to lower your stem a few inches to try to
fit it to your new preference.
Btw, were any of your bikes fit and set up by Analog Cycles? Just curious
if this is the ‘enlightened fit’ style.

@Leah - Have you tried taking the Clem out on gravel rides, as-is? I've
also got a Clem and Platy, so I'm curious to hear how you experience them
differently on the same trails.

Nice, yeah I also like the idea of putting the bar end shifter cable
housing under the ESI grips. I set up mine outside the grips and it was
just annoying to feel there. It was so annoying that I didn't even think it
would help if I used twine to tie it down.

For a few months now, I've been using the 13-42 on my Clem with the stock
38/24 chain rings. I've rarely switched to the 24, so if I were setting it
up again, I'd be comfortable using it as a 1x.
90% of my use is hauling kids over small hills in SF, and a bit of trail
riding.

Wow, the Kiu seems like a great design for a much better price ($50 on sale

Yeah, I just laced up my first wheel yesterday using the Jim Langley video

Hi All,
I was just chatting with Rich Lesnik and he recommended a wheel building

I was wondering if anyone had a copy I could buy or know if there are scans

Thanks!

Yeah, I totally agree that the bikes have been categorized different ways
over the years. I quickly threw the spreadsheet together and thought I was
using the categories on the current rivbike.com - 'Roadish' , 'Touring &

@Jason - this is really cool! I did a search and came across this because I
was thinking about doing something very similar but also including when the
models were discontinued and any lineage type relationships:
Atlantis <-> Appaloosa
Glorius/Wilbury -> Betty Foy/Yves Gomez -> Cheviot ->
This never made it to be an official model, but I would love to have the
Riv Kids bike back.
