I was considering the 51cm Sam, especially the Web special. But you snooze you
lose. How does the Cheviot compare? I wanted a Sam to replace a typical
aluminum 105 equipped road bike, for fun rides short and long carrying at most
light loads, going fastish. The role between my errand beater
I've owned both and I LOVE MY Cheviot. Love the step through. I have 43mm Rock
and Roads- I can go anywhere! I commute to work (street) and ride trails on the
same tires. Have a Marks rack in front with a basket and a Carradice with a
Pletcher on back. Set up for S24O- and just go! Haul
Hi Daniel, between my partner and I, we have a 60cm cheviot/58 QB and a long
46 Appaloosa custom/50 saluki combos so maybe of some help. All but the QB
have Boscos, which has old style mustaches.
The long bikes in general: stable in the extreme and designed for upright
riding. Gotta dial in
