Looks like an unbranded Dimension. (not that there's anything wrong with
that!) I'm not particularly a fan of the company, but the Velo Orange
threadless stem is pretty decent looking. Soma and IRD make decent ones,
too. And heck, the Dimension (and other versions thereof) aren't bad
really.
Sometimes mixing the classic aesthetic with the new standards can
be...challenging.
In what I thought would be a simple task of choosing from several stems
from my parts bin, I turned up empty handed and in disbelief. I really
don't have a threadless 1 1/8 26.0 clamp stem?!? How can this be?
I don't know what look you are really going for, but I just got an email
earlier today from Handsome Cycles. They have a $40 silver stem.
A great company and very easy to deal with.
Boulder Bicycles carries the IRD stem in 26.0 and has a couple of different
rise/drop angles. I have used that stem on a couple of bikes and it is
really quite nice. The logo is really understated.
Boulder's price is good as well.
