Ron, Is there much of a weight difference? Any noticeable difference in the ride? I love my Barlow Pass tires for their light, supple ride but don't use them for commuting for fear of puncture. I can't afford a puncture on the ride to the train. Not sure where the fear comes from since

YUP. I've had a latex CX tube survive after my tire was punctured by the largest thorn I've ever seen (about 1" long and very very sharp but stubby.) I did pull it out right away because it was a noticeable bump as the wheel turned. Tube was fine. I kept the thorn as a keepsake. -- You
