The reflective tape on Eric's wheel is more eligant that what I did. I purchased some relfective tape from RBW and cut it into short lengths and stuck it between the spokes. http://www.flickr.com/photos/16951...@n08/3197299097/ I also put reflective tape ON the spokes.

That is indeed a Sturmey Archer hub. And yes, the cabling and mounting is much cleaner than the Rohloff, although that's a very fine unit as well. I particularly like the J-Tek bar-end shifter (many thanks to the member on this list who let me know about them, and to Jim at Hiawatha
