Hands behind steering axis:
With Albatross bars and 8(?) cm stem at max height on my Sam the steering felt
just as good as with drops with 8 cm stem. Smooth and stable.
Standing climbing holding the bar ends on the grips was same. Excellent control
and leverage.
Never used a longer stem though.

I just installed a set of Diacompe Guidonnet levers on the Albatross bars
on my Atlantis. So far only one commute with them. I will give an update
after a few more rides with them.

When I had the new low trail fork made, it had to be painted. I debated for
months on what color to have it repainted, but finally realized that there
just was no better color for the Atlantis than its own original color.

The only Atlantis that has downtube white panels is the one that you pay to
get custom painted that way. Rene did that on his own dime long after he
acquired it.

it and like it in brown. On the Hunqapillar, I actually had the Berthoud in
black; it's even thicker and larger than the Brooks. Fit well with the 60mm
Berthoud fenders I had on it, but I think it's overkill. Th

Nice build! I've used inverse brake levers on a couple of bikes now and
really liked them since I still can reach them with my pinkies if needed. I
plan to use a pair with mustache bars in the near future, just need time
and maybe a new stem to make the conversion.

tang, but it hits the top of the fender and reduces the clearance. It might
be OK if I reduce the overall clearance for the 38mm tires I currently
