I don't have a Rivendell, but I do have a Rivet. I like mine a lot too. I got it on a Monday and rode a 300K on Saturday the same week with two short rides in between. The leather is THICK and there is no sag or flaring at all. That was my problem with the SAA--way too of both. I know

Thanks! It's a 54 cm AHH. My PBH is 79.0 cm. The standover on the AHH with 650bx38mm Pacenti Pari Motos is about the same as my 54 cm Ram with 700c x32mm Paselas. It's a little tight, but I definitely made the right choice of frame size given the amount of stem/seat post showing. I have a long

I wish I could, Bill. All I know is that I told Keven at Rivendell I wanted a single speed setup and they suggested using the Surly Singleator. And no, it's not an old derailleur; everything is brand new. As a novice all I know is that I get on and go. Very simple and easy to ride. That's what I

Beautiful Hilsen! I know you will enjoy it. I too would like a better view of the color. It looks like a dark blue on my monitor. Love the simplicity, and have thought about doing the same with mine. Since my Kogswell P/R has a fixed wheel, I've stayed with the gears on the AHH...for now. On

Ah, yes. The Surly website reveals all. And it has an interesting theme, too. It does look a lot like a Cyclo or a Simplex from a distance. I ride a green Quickbeam that I'm sure I could hop on and cross the country with the gear in the bag and the gear in the back. Singlespeed ahead! On Sun, Oct
