Bulls eye. M4-0.7. I took the ring to the hardware store and fitted it, but they didn't have stainless. I'm sure I can find it. Thanks for the help with this. Michael On Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 10:46:59 PM UTC-5, Dave Johnston wrote: > > It is probably an M4-0.7. Try a derailleur hi/

It is probably an M4-0.7. Try a derailleur hi/lo adjustment screw or the B-tension screw and see if that is the right size. My local hardware store has Stainless steel set screws in that size but yours may not be as well stocked. -Dave J On Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 3:33:10 PM UTC-5, Mich

Longshot, but check your parts-box for rear derailers. The pin that stops the pulley cage from rolling back on itself is often screwed in, and I suspect might be the same thread. If you've got a banged up rear der that can sacrifice that pin, you might be done. Bill Lindsay El Cerrito, CA

If no one here has one, you might call Riv and ask them to measure the threads on the screw they use with the silver rings. It's be metric for sure and a decent hardware store may have a suitable one. It doesn't need to be exact length , just fit in between the ring and the arm . The head
