Bulls eye. M4-0.7. I took the ring to the hardware store and fitted it,
but they didn't have stainless. I'm sure I can find it. Thanks for the
help with this.

It is probably an M4-0.7. Try a derailleur hi/lo adjustment screw or the
B-tension screw and see if that is the right size. My local hardware store
has Stainless steel set screws in that size but yours may not be as well
stocked.

Longshot, but check your parts-box for rear derailers. The pin that stops
the pulley cage from rolling back on itself is often screwed in, and I
suspect might be the same thread. If you've got a banged up rear der that
can sacrifice that pin, you might be done.

threads on the screw they use with the silver rings. It's be metric for
sure and a decent hardware store may have a suitable one. It doesn't need
