I rode one over half way across the cusa (mid 70's) with no problems and had a couple thousand miles on it before hand. As Jeff said it required overshift but back then over shift was totally acceptable. Would I buy one now? Yeah for nostaligia on a local rider and if George wants to sell his at

Hi-    I had a Rally on my brevet bike and it required a fair amount of overshift to change cogs, but I got used to it. Gave me something to focus my attention on during long rides. Like the Nuovo Record I had on a previous bike it shifted marginally but I'm sure it would last for 20 years.  I'm
