Forgot to talk more about bar height and comfort. On my 3 road bikes, I like a lowish bar position for various reasons: wind efficiency -- it's windy here; power -- bending over gives noticeably more power; even comfort, since the hooks provide a position that, at least for periods up to 15 minutes

Hello Patrick Look ... I don't know you ... or what you're looking for in way of ride or tires . but I think wider tires will help . I ride the Bombadil on the road with 700x45mm tires, 42.25mm actual. I have some pretty poorly patch paved roads I ride on. These roads were heck on my road
