I think it may get down to 45F the next couple nights after this front
comes through. I've noticed that the actual temps this entire summer and
fall and about 5-10F higher than the forecast.
Oh well, it was a nice planet... on to the next one.

Colorado has extreme temp swings.Friday 45 Saturday 65.Today 70 Thursday
forecast snow..
Daytime temps in the winter here are often around 40' or higher. With the
intense sun at altitude,no wind and 35' it can be quite pleasant.
People here just layer up and ride..it's better than

were still in the mid 80's here in Los Angeles but we have some scattered rain
in our near future. Wow I just can't imagine riding in 45F! That's so far off

I don't think those are old rail road beds.Not sure.
Looking at the fourth picture there is a tunnel behind the bridge railing.(

Awesome! Those canyons with railroad grade road are wondrous to ride! (Is
that what Waterton Canyon is, former rail?) I've always loved the
handlebars on those Cheviots. Lots of hand positions, if you can get a
grip. Cool, rainy rides are always delicious. I just enjoyed the wee ride
here
