Thanks for the offer Bo—but although the Redwoods are really nice—I’m wanting
the lighter tubes on the Roadeo

I posted this WTB awhile back but thought I’d try again. I’d prefer just a
frameset, but might consider a complete. Can have plenty of beauage or be
closer to new.
Anyone will a 63cm Roadeo thinking of selling?

I know this is a long shot, but thought was worth asking. I'd be most
interested in a frameset, but might consider a complete also. As long as
I'm asking about hard to find stuff, I would also consider 62cm Legolas (I
can hear collective laughter at this request). Anybody holding? Frame
Good for you. That is an absolutely beautiful bike and I would have been
seriously tempted to buy it myself if it was anywhere near my size.

Hey all,
If anyone has a 63cm Roadeo F/F/HS that isn't seeing use any more, I'm
looking to buy one. I want a light but comfortable road bike with room for
wider tires and the Roadeo will actually help me to consolidate my bike
stable by n-1 and free up space in the garage.
I'm located in the
If it is anything like mine, you will love it.
Faster than any rivbike I ever rode.
I don’t even need to downshift on some hills anymore. Just cruises over them.
Some hills. Of course those 7+%-ers are still tough! But this bikes requires
less effort to pedal along than all my other rivs.

I just wanted to update this post with the good news that I've found myself a
Roadeo. A list member offered his up as it wasn't seeing a lot of use. It's
in immaculate condition, is in the color or my dreams(Ram orange,) and was a
very fair price. I'm extremely grateful and am looking
Thanks, ttoshi!
I just bought a Roadeo from a lister and glad to hear about the ride qualities
and your experience with position on the bars.

Such a great, detailed explanation! Thanks, Toshi! Sounds like the Roadeo is
exactly what I’m looking for. Now if only I can find a frameset in my size

The Roadeo is lighter and faster steering than the Ram, and that is a
noticable difference to me. What may not be as appreciated is that the
design of the Roadeo is different from the Ram in that the top tube is
shorter (at least in my 53/54cm size, and I think for other sizes too).
This means,
Tim,
Thanks so much for sharing your impressions of each! You’ve helped me confirm
that the Roadeo is the bike for me even though I prefer the Road’s aesthetics.
I’m lucky enough to own a Ram and while it just my be my favorite ride, I’m
looking for something a little different with my next

I've owned both a 59 Roadeo and 59 Riv Road Standard, so allow me to share
my impressions.
The Roadeo has larger tire clearance; it was designed around
standard/medium reach brakes, not the short-reach brakes of the Riv Road.
The Roadeo is the faster/lighter of the two; its tubeset is
I may be selling my 64cm Mercian Vincitore custom with roadish geometry (kind
of like a Quickbeam), but it's single speed/fixed.

Hello,
I’m considering building up a streamlined, light-ish road bike to compliment my
stable of light to heavily accessoried touring bikes. Something without baskets
or racks or fenders, etc. Does anyone out there have a 63cm or bigger Roadeo
franeset they’ve been looking to pass along? I’d
