It looks great. The shellac darkens the yellow to an orange brown. It does
lighten with age.

I used speckled tape - mostly yellow with a bit of black - on my Bleriot.

shellac it) I just go for it angst-free. Wow, it's been like 8 years since I've

Last time I did a round of cotton bar tape was orange with clear shellac on my
green Sam. The color was a bit bold for me so I mellowed it with a coat of
amber shellac on top of the two clear coats. I guess what I'm saying is that
you've got a little wiggle room to play with the color if it
