I rode south in May and had to bypass Big Sur by going inland through King
City, Fort Hunter Liggett, Nacimiento, and Paso Robles on the way to Morro Bay.
It’s a longer route with a lot of climbing and many sections with limited
services, but it made for a great (if long) day on the bike.

I used Bicycling The Pacific Coast Highway on a trip from Fort Bragg to San Diego 17 years ago, and found it both indispensable and without flaw in those pre-GPS days. Glad to see it's still being updated (and published). John in Portland, Orego
