used an asymmetric spindle. Assuming you are using a modern sealed BB a
good start would be a 116 JIS with a 1.0-1.5 mm shim on the drive side.

I saw the Wheelmen and BTA rides. I have no objection to joining up with
either of them, but they sound uninspiring. I ride on (and enjoy)
