After asking the group for fender recommendations, I bought Velo Oranges stainless. I found them to be too heavy, and they did not give me enough tire clearance. I then went and looked at Woody's wood fenders and found them to be too heavy too, and too thick for clearance with my 2.25 tires.

Yes, you could easily mill away some cutouts so the fender fits around narrow stays. SKS chromoplastics are very easy to cut with a roto-tool like a dremel. Cut slowly and carefully. Any cut you make creates a future weakness for cracking, so keep your cutouts nice and round. On Mon, Oct 26,
