I have two sets of perfectly good 3x9 grip shifters in my Mountain Bike Team stash, but none of "my kids" run 3x9 anymore. Both have a ratcheting (non-index) left shifter. I also broke my Pletscher clem rack, and salvaged the pannier rails off of it before putting the carcass in recycling.
