This reminds of Shawshank Redemption movie where Andy asks Red to get him a
rock hammer that sells for (at the time) . $7.
When Red inquires as to how Andy is going to use it, he replies "you'll
understand when you see the rock hammer".
With the HZ lockring tool, you'll understand why
Agree with Garth. I bought one, and I'd say $7 is about the right price.

I have gone back and forth with the notion of trying an adjustable bottom
bracket but haven't quite convinced myself to go there. I don't need one
since my Shimano and IRD models have always worked fine. BUT the temptation
is there and I'm a sucker for the classic look. Besides riding aren't
I've installed and adjusted many, many cup and cone bbs, from horribly
cheap ones that were very hard to adjust for proper tension to top of the
line like Suntour GG and Dura Ace that were easily installed with perfect
adjustment. It does help to have good tools -- and I've still got an array

It’s this one. If it wasn’t an hour each way I’d go check it out myself.

It was originally advertised as a 59cm with a link to the most recent mile
long chainstay geometry.

That Atlantis is being sold by Second Cycle, a shop that I used to work at
and have a long connection with. I would be surprised if they're measuring
incorrectly. I do see that they're listing the seat tube length center to
center, whereas Rivendell lists their seat tube lengths center to top.
That's definitely a 58, going by the size of the wheels (700c). They do
say they measured 56cm center to center, whereas Rivendell uses center to
top.

Hi, all. I have some of the Riv x Nitto Bullmoose bars and would like to
trade for some Chocomoose bars (not Bosco, and I don't remember other
"mooses"--but if you have a different moose, let me know and the worst I
can say is "no").

I disagree with Garth,
I also bought one (to use as a S coupler wrench as well as a BB lockring
wrench) -- like the entire H-Z tool line it is not fancy (you'll not
mistake it for something from https://www.abbeybiketools.com/ ), but it is
decently made, and works well. I's say to me is is

To add another layer to the Atlantis history, does anyone else recall the
very first run of them having longer top tubes ? Not prototypes, they were
the original run. I recall the number 62cm for a top tube for the (I
believe) 64cm frame size, as I was considering buying one in particular
Garth, that's exciting! Enjoy the anticipation and the process; always
another detail to consider isn't there? Thanks so much for the update.
