The quest for cheep and "good enough" often costs more than "spectacular." Why? Spectacular is accomplished by so few, there are 1-4 in any given market and slight research will narrow that down to 1-2 for specific desires. But everyone does "cheep" and claims some version of "good enough."

I just responded to a similar question on the 650b group: 1. Schwalbe Kojak. In 650b/27.5 size, it comes in 1.35" width. And these tires measure ~ 34mm on Synergy rims. 2. Soma B-line. I have never seen these measure more than 37mm, even on the wide-ish Pacenti SL23 rims. 3. as a replacement
