Hi all,
The screw in the back is a recessed rack mount. My chainstays are 49 cm
long from the center of the bb to the center of the rear dropout. I have a
24-38-48 crank with 11-34 cassette.
See you,
Toshi

Do you mind posting a side view of the bag on the rack?? You frame looks
like a 54cm. I use a 21" and would like to see how I fits in the space.

I have Flyers and B67's and each one seem to develop noises of some sort
over time. And they never seem to get completely corrected. Although I
live with them I have gravitated toward non-sprung saddles on my bikes.
Less weighty and no squeaks.

Very Cool! I've always wanted a green bike. Out of curiosity what did
the chainstays measure out as? Are the tires 650b Hetre?

What is the screw in the seat stay above the bridge to the left of your
pump...I know it has a purpose...is it for a rack mount? So there is
probably one on the other side I guess. How elegant is that?

You definitely need to visit Saturday Cycles off 600 North. They can get
you in touch with the UnRacer activites happening in SLC. Provo and SLC
have very good bike collectives that are fun to visit. I like taking the
train up and ride around the city, catch lunch in sugarhouse, stop at

I had this same problem with a B67.I tried the various tightening
methods already mentioned. I could get some short term improvement by
putting grease around the tops of the springs, but the mess was bad.I
eventually gave up on trying to get the clicking to go away.

If memory serves, my Brooks Flyer has two pairs of rails, leading from the
top and bottom of each spring to the nose of the saddle. I want to remember
that they come close to touching near the nose, and in my case, rubbed
against one another while pedaling. I wiped some bearing grease on the

Sounds like two metal parts are passing each other. Try lubing up around
the tension bolt in the front. Could also be where the springs end/begin,
but careful what you use there--I've had the spring bolt start to unwind if
things are made too slippery. Might want to try a combo of loctite and

I've hunted down and fixed a couple noises from my Brooks Flyers, but they
always return with friends. C'est la vie à ressort (that's life on

Awesome. One hundred miles is a lot to do without "training," but as you
have shown, it's not impossible! And by making the mental shift from
"training" to "just riding" your attention stays completely on the ride at
hand. My experience has been that if most of your riding is "training" for
