Wow, is that beautiful!
That’s British Racing Green Plus.
Good work on the repair. Better than new!

Thanks y’all. Ryan, the BRG is stunning in person. Depending on the light, it
ranges from a very dark green to a shimmery metallic.

Longshot but I would love to find a 135mm rear Suntour Skewer, they made
some for the mountain groups when they offered a 135 rear hub. Also a front
skewer.
Thanks

Birdman,
That is stunning. You perfectly emphasis the special relationship one can
develop between themselves and a favorite bike.
Where others on the list may question your motive or the cost; I am supportive
of everything that went into the revival of that Beautiful Ent. The British

Sure, I can snap BB photo. The only surprise is that once the paint was
stripped, the frame builder found several gaps in various lugs where the
bronze had not properly penetrated when it was originally built, he got all
of those fixed up. His approach to the BB shell was to saw the old shell
Yeah, I can understand that. I, too, would love to own a Susie/Gus, but I
don't do enough trail riding to justify the purchase.

Dreamy...
I've got a couple jealous 68's that are glad to be a few steps back from the
scrap yard. Can we get a close-up of the new bottom bracket? Any surprises? Was
it easier/harder than the builder expected? Thanks for doing this

Yes, I test rode a Susie and loved it, so I ordered one back in December.
But I couldn't bear to wait, so I ended up with the Atlantis, which is a
much better fit for the riding I do on a daily basis.

"Except for the shorter wheelbase, the Gus/Susie is the bike you describe."
And a brilliant ride. My experience with Gus is the long wheelbase is
rarely to never a detriment, and always an asset. Smooth, better climbing,
better flow. Experience teaches the taking of slightly different curves in

Thanks for the offer Bo—but although the Redwoods are really nice—I’m wanting
the lighter tubes on the Roadeo

Hehe, if I reshoot with more light I might get more takers I can't sell to. The
saddle is SOLD!

Butt yeah, not seeing much green in the pic. Might want to reshoot that
with more light.

Once many years ago I found myself in Harris Cyclery outside Boston. Up on
the shelf was a white Team Pro. I am certain this was before 2009, when
they released an embossed white Team in commemoration of the messenger

Awesome!
I saw a grey and kidney bean Hunqapillar there 2 weeks ago. It was underneath
me the whole time.
I went up Western States Trail and up The Wall from Squaw Valley to get to the
Rim Trail. Someone on the trail, also on a mountain bike, said to me, “You’re
doing great on that bike.”
Looks brown on my screen. I bet it is a nice saddle.

Hello Roberta. That is super kind of you.
I'm in Vermont, so too far for a commute (and I'd have to quarentine on the

Looks like fun riding; the Atlantis looks like it is in its element out
there. It is such a great, versatile bike.
Rigid mtbs are fun and I've found a nice cushy set of grips helps a lot to
smooth out the ride especially when riding over the smaller bumps like
roots and rougher gravel. I have
