*Older Velo Orange Randonneur Rack with separate 1" decaleur.*
This shows some wear, but works fine. Mounts with included P clamps or to
fork braze ons.
Notice, the mount for the brake/fork crown has been cut. Also, it's not a
diving board style, but rather is welded to the rack frame. Also, I

Thanks, all.
First, yes, I also have suggested attaching instead of embedding huge image

I get email via gmail not via website.
As to right-clicking, it's not the image that's the problem, it's the

Yeah Patrick, As George pointed out, just open the images in a new tab,
that's what I do as viewing images in the messages itself is always wonky.
I open new windows for darn near all images I view online. I'm using Linux
Mint and Firefox ESR. I know you've expressed this many times before but I
I use the "Add Attachment" button not "Insert Photo Attachment" and it puts

Patrick - one way to deal with these images if you're running an Apple OS
from my experience, is to right-click on the image. Up will pop a menu
that allows your to open the image in a new tab. Then, the image in the

That Trek/Crust conversion sounds awesome. Please post some pictures if
you're able. Also, does the Spark fork offer clearance for 650b x 48mm, no
fender? I believe the listing says something like perfect for 38-42mm
tires.
Thanks,

Bag is pending.
Eric, it needs a rack to work. The bag is huge. The distance between the
rack and the saddle is flexible. If the distance is low then the front
scrunches up, but it still works fine. Unlike a large Carradice that will
side sag if it doesn't have enough clearance, this one works

Patrick,
I don't think there is anything you can do on your end, but I might see if
I can figure out a work-around ... Are you reading posts in email or using
the google groups web page?
The only way I know of to solve the problem is for the poster to do some
extra leg work formatting the image
That's a nice looking bag. How much clearance do you need from seat to tire?
Thanks,

FWIW: I'm no expert but if there is anyone in Austin TX who would like to
learn to change a tire I'd be happy to show how I do it. I can provide the

I used Albatross for years. Switched last year to Choco bars and feel
there is much more room for my hands to roam. I actually had to order from
Blue Lug in Japan as Riv was out. As I ordered 2 bars and maybe something
else the price with shipping was pretty close.

Thanks Thomas --
I actually just dropped the price to 2500 which I think is a pretty dang
good deal. Bike rides amazingly well.

Thank you Patrick (!) as a big concern is exceeding my Velocity Dyad
25-38mm limits with proposed 43-45mm tire. Don't want that
wallowing-off-the-rim feel I sometimes get on my very low pressure mountain
bike tires. But your experience is vey enlightening. Velocity told me

I used to post often but haven't in quite some time. Hope it's OK that I

Just a remark about 38 mm tires on Open Pro rims. If you worry that
38s are too wide for those rims, fear not; I rode 50s on 19 mm rims
(OW) for thousands of miles on rough dirt tracks with absolutely no
problem; and I presently ride 71 mm tires on 24 mm (OW) rims on dirt
tracks (tubeless tires, no

Thanks Lance. That does seem to be the problem, so many (too many?) choices in
bars.
I do ride road and mtn, though probably 80% road thus that desire for something
with a little drop and having a variety of hand positions. Am narrowing down
option and albatross is in there.

While I don’t have said wheel, I do have a couple of Campy freewheel hubs
floating about if you’re interested. Would let one go for a very nominal fee
from one Campyonly person to another. 😁
