Bag sold, headset press and shock pump remain. Shock pump! In what world
did I think I was a mountain biker who was going to be pumping air in
shocks?? 臘

Offer? I don't have one for sale, I'm just saying they're good.
As for it being a good companion to a Susie that depends on what you're
looking to do. If you want racks and bags to go shopping and the Susie is
set up as a mountain bike, well there ya go. Different bikes for different
stuff!

I'm glad they're sharing some of his ride photos, for sure!

It's basically the same, just a little stiffer. The L has a smidge of flex
in the frame that shows up if you load a bunch of weight on it (some folks
I've mentioned this to say they don't notice it, YRMV). Grab that H, it's a

There's a new instagram account with photos from Jobst Brandt's riding and
touring, sanctioned by his family.

I've really enjoyed reading his archived alpine tour diaries. Worthwhile if
you haven't dug in.
There is some variation in Riv specs -- then and now! :)

Yes, I think that is the original fork. I think the bike on eBay is an
early Atlantis -- the early ones did not have mid-fork braze-ons and dual
fork-tip eyelets. See photos in the Riv brochure linked here:

Is that the original fork? It doesn't have mid-fork brazeons - or eyelets
on the top of the axle like most? Odd.

I just finished my Susie build (first Riv) and I have never ridden a bike
like it. It brings comfort and riding enjoyment to an all time high for me!
I do however find it to be almost too nice!
I was interested in waiting for a Clem L to come back in stock to use as my
grocery getter/winter

That sounds about right to me, Eric. I'm guessing something that is kind
of like a Leo Roadini with cantilever brakes, clearance for 50mm tires and
Quickbeam-style ends. I hope it has a long front center to avoid TCO. My

I saw the earlier images, but it’s still not super clear. I’m guessing it’s
like a long wheelbase-sloping top tube Quickbeam?

Here is what's left:
Nitto 32F Front Rack - lightly used, will include mounting bolts (this one

Shimano Tiagra Road Brake Levers - some marks on levers, work as intended

Exciting indeed. I will be first in line for the production frames. I
wonder what the color options will be?
