I'm putting some Sim Works Getaround bars on my QB and ran into an interesting
issue. The bars are listed as 25.4 clamp diameter and I'm using a 26.0 Tallux
I had shimmed to run Albatross bars. No way the shims will fit with the
getaround bars and the clamping seems good w/out them. On the
Soma Shikoro 700x42 kevlar bead.

I'm gonna put drops on my hunqapillar and was looking Tallux and technomic for
height but want the shortest extension possible. The technomic comes in 50 cm
but isn't cold forged. The Tallux is cold forged but I only see it in 7 cm on
rivbike. So, is 7 cm the shortest Tallux extension?
There's a technomic deluxe with a 5 cm extension but the quill is 190 vs.
the 225 of the technomic and tallux.

Yes those are wtb byways. I rode the old 54 hunq at Riv years back and loved
it and wished it were bigger. I didn't measure standover, and I never have,

I want to try compass tires and was thinking Naches Pass tires on my XO.
However, I own more unused tires than I do shoes. I figure my barely used WTB
Byways would fetch the most interest and would be a lateral move price wise.
If no trades come up consider the Byways for sale as I maxed out

So I bought the stem from Riv right before the end of the year but mounted it
today. I'm still using the sim works get around bars and they are now way up
and back. The stem isn't as nicely finished other Nitto pieces and as such
they marred the trademark "skid proof" coating on the sim

because of the drop of the tallux and want to get up higher. I am concerned

Like it says. I would buy from Riv but they are sold out and their price is

The best riding bike I own is a 650b Hunq. My second best is a 1994
Bridgestone XO-3. I guess I'd like some iteration of the early 26" A/R but I
feel like the crust romanceur fits that niche. I have seriously thought of
parlaying my Quickbeam and XO into a crust bike but I like rim brakes.
