[RBW] MUSA Shorts - Assistance with Sizing

2013-09-09 Thread Garth
I am seeking some assistance with MUSA shorts sizing. I've read the Riv page and all, yet I do not go by "general" sizing(it means something different to every manufacturer), only by actual, garment measurements. So I'm hoping there is someone who is handy with a tape measure with a Medium

Yes Aaron ... it does help !! Sounds like I may want a Large or XL. I wear pants and shorts with the waist overly large, and use the belt to take up the extra. Most of my shorts are in the 34-36 inch waist relaxed range. Does the belt in these come right out on it's own ? The Riv page say

Of course . one can always just get a genuine 28.6 clamp FD :) The 105 , Ultegra and Dura Ace FD's ( FD-5500 FD-6500) and such of that time frame and older All work wonderfully, as do many Sun Tours. I even use a 105 double with a 26/36/50 triple on one bike. A 105 FD clears the Bombadi

As mentioned, the Bosco Bar would not work for you at all here, as it sweeps wy back close to the rider and is designed for long TT frames. I'd use Alba bars and a tall Quill (like the Nitto MTC-04 tall) adapter and a threadless stem with a +6 or 10 degree rise myself. The Technomic is okay
