I am working on building up an 64cm Atlantis I picked up. Looking for the

Nitto Dirt Drop Stem, 80mm
Nitto 32F Front Rack
Silver Paul Canti-Brakes(Either Variation, though I would prefer neo for
the front and touring for the rear)

That will easily straighten without an issue. Please use a derailleur
alignment gauge and do it correctly. Crescent wrenches are a bad choice for
that job. A steel hanger can bend a good long way and still be straightened.
I wouldn't be one bit nervous about straightening yours.

I second the CX70s! They are a great brake! I have Both Paul's brakes and
Shimano CX70s and they are both great brakes. If you are looking for a more
budget oriented brake, the CX70s are the way to go.

The Surly 24-Pack rack won't work on the Hunq. I purchased one and tried it.
To make it work, the rack ends up sitting about 4 inches above the top of the
tire and the load sits way to high. Biggest problem is mid-fork eyelets sit to
high on the Hunq fork.

Yeppers, we know a thing or two about Rivs at the Bicycle Pro Shop. If you
stop in the Georgetown store one of my Rivs is usually hanging by the front
door. Right now all three are there when I'm in. People are usually surprised
to see them with all the high zoot carbon dohickies in the

Another long shot here, but we'll give it a try. I am looking for the
older style Sackville Backabike Rear Bags. These are the ones that have
the two eyelets for the strap you use to lash the bag to your rack. The
new ones have leather straps now, and I like how older ones attach

With a Shimano BB, that is a non-issue. The NDS cup is there to support the
cartridge BB. It's pretty common to see that. The extra thread is there so
the cup can tighten down on the BB before it bottoms out on the BB shell. As

I have an Appaloosa, a Hunqapillar, and an Atlantis. They are all great
bikes! They all ride just a little different. My Appaloosa is setup with
a Albatross bar, Hunqapillar has a Bullmoose bar, and my Atlantis is setup
with drop bars. I like the way they all ride in different respects,
