Be careful. I just removed one from a used rivbike and there was alot of
paint missing under it. Maybe try to put some kind of rubber on the frame
before clamping down on it.

Nothing but frame and components - no add-ons whatsoever (not even a
kickstand). Don't start throwing rotten vegetables at me yet.
I do agree that weight doesn't matter that much, especially after the

I am in Maryland, and we get some freezing rain and a few bouts of snow in
the winter. Sometimes an inch a few times a winter, sometimes more.

Nitto on the racks on my Rivbike vs. the rack I have been using that has a

I get blue paint coming off on rags when I use alcohol on parts of the
frame to clean it. The paint still looks cherry, though. I don't get it.
I would think there would be a clear coat over the paint so this doesn't
happen. But I don't know.

to try some other bikes out. I
where your butt is in relation to the pedals and the wheelbase.
How so? I am very curious about this as I am trying to figure this out for
my own setup.

Rivendell should have these normally for sale.
I bet they would sell alot with the new bike sales. Even if it was more
expensive than a standard Brooks model, I bet people would splurge a little
and get it put on the bike.
But I would hope they would be priced the same as a standard

Once I breezed around with a new lighting sysem on. It was amazing to ride
at night. So quiet and barely cars!! Only the whirring of the tires on
pavement.
Single speed would be cool to have, but my knees would be destroyed in no
