you can change the wheelbase in many ways. you can adjust the trail

Steve Rex in Sacramento is a master. In my experience he is also a pretty
great fitter. May be worth the drive. I did it.

I did "week 3" a few years back. Not sure if week 3 is still the one with
reasonable speeds and distances. They used to do it in collaboration with
Bike Friday and it was the only week that I could consider because I am a
normal human being. Susan and Lon are great folks and the trip was well

Looks like week 1 is now the one with reasonable distances.

I have become rather fond of Michelin Litihion 2. I don't keep track of
mileage, nor flat frequency, but they feel good and don't seem to be of
less quality than others I've tried.
And if you get em from probikekit.com = about $20 each.

Bleriot. I tried the Bleriot two different times. Lovely to look at. On the
other hand, I was used to lighter frames with 700c wheels with nothing
bigger than 25 mm tires. For my pavement club rides, I found the Bleriot to
be sluggish too. Could not put my finger on it, but decided I prefer

I am interested in the Miche post and the Frogs. Is the Miche silver or

shipping? Got photos?
Thanks,

My Specialized Roubaix has the bars at the same height as my other steel
bikes. They all fit just about the same, but the Roubaix is usually more
fun to ride due to the lightness of its being.

that said, off the rack bikes with threadless forks, especially a full
carbon fork, often are limited in steerer length and/or how many spacers
you can install and stay in the safe zone.

photos of my coupled steel Curtlo and my swoopy carbon Roubaix with
upjutting stem. Definitely prefer more traditional steel aesthetics, but
can't beat the road and ride feel of the Roubaix.

i actually think the next size bigger might be a better fit for me. that
way seat would not be pushed all the way back on a setback post and stem,
with longer fork steerer and headtube, could be flatter.

I had my old Kogswell P powdered by a regular old powder coater. My lugs
did not disappear at all. Maas does both powder and wet paint. Brent
Steelman used to use Maas for all his powder so I think they must do a way
better than average job. They do wet, but not sure about the quality of
