[RBW] Introduction

Hello Everyone, I've wearied of lurking and decided to introduce myself. I'm not an RBW owner as of yet, but I have a Hunqapillar on order along with a Betty Foy for my wife. I wanted to thank everyone for sharing here, it has made the long wait somewhat sufferable, though I feel myself

Thanks everyone for the welcome! Some weekends, when I can't stand the wait any longer, I drive over to Riv from Berkeley and take a Hunqapillar or Sam Hillborne or the proto-Appalousa out for a short spin. Perhaps I better make another trip over there soon before I get any crankier and my

[RBW] Fender/Tire Clearance w/ the Pass and Stow front Rack?

2013-08-24 Thread jphillip...@me.com
Hi, Could anyone tell me what the maximum front tire/ fender clearance is for the Pass Stow rack? I went to mount the Nitto Big Front rack on my 54cm Hunqapillar, and I found I don't have enough room to clear my 55mm Big Bens and the fender. I could just go with adding the PlatRack, but

Hi Minh, I was going to mount the Big Front rack just as shown in the Riv video, but I would need more than 15 1/4 to clear my front fender. Measuring the Nitto BF rack, I have a maximum of 14 7/8 from the lower eyelet to the underside of the top of the rack. Thanks, John On Saturday,

Boy, it sure is a good thing I came back and reread your answer, 15 of clearance from the axel just barely clears my fender. After you answered, I was measuring from the eyelet on the fork, not the axel as you had specified. At least I hadn't pulled the trigger on the Pass Stow rack yet.
