that you can make them very similar to each other, or very different.

Hey folks, this one might be a catch and release for me. Less than 10 miles on
it, and still mint condition. 62cm canti-Sam frameset, $1000 and we’ll split
shipping. It’s a wonderful bike, but riding just a bit on the small side for
me, and riding it alongside the Appaloosa has me convinced on

beautifully! Mine sold for a bit less than this, so maybe the buyer got a deal,

Seems to vary a lot by market. In Austin I can do pretty well with a functional
bike, but it’s a college town. Figure almost any bike that works and has a
decent story to tell will fetch at least ~$180 around here.

should probably be on a 64cm Appaloosa (if they existed) so the long TT is less

Would a Crust scapegoat allow for a fixed setup? I know it’s a decidedly
esoteric kind of bike that can be tricky to set up geared, but this may be a
strength for the chosen use case.

really make it stable and fun when the dirt gets a little loose. I sold the
Sam, but got a Hilsen, which is that bit sportier than either of them, so
you might consider that, too if your major need is a road-ish bike.
