I really wanted to build this up and experience what I’m sure is a
wonderful ride but I’ve just got too many projects in the queue. Bought
from Art in 2012

>Can I assume that mine is also a Toyo build?
My notes say, "3 water bottle braze ons mean Toyo built"
Also, I guess I'm too naive or trusting -- why don’t you recommend posting
full numbers?

I had my aortic valve replaced with a mechanical valve in 2009 at age 61. I
was at Ironman fitness level at the time of surgery. My surgeon told me I'd
probably see a 15% boost in endurance after surgery, which I think was
accurate. I presently do not feel any restrictions to hard effort (other

On my ACA Banff-Whitefish tour, we all charged our phones in the campground
bathroom the first night. When we checked in the morning, ONE phone had
been stolen, the leader's! It was the cheapest flip phone you could get but
he had to go

The first night at the Banff campground, we all put our phones in the
bathroom where there was an electric outlet. One [ONE]

I am selling my A Homer Hilsen which I purchased from a forum member in
2010. It has had very little use. The bike has probably been ridden less
than 1000 miles. It is in very good condition, showing some beausage. This
bike has been replaced by a custom Bruce Gordon.

I’ll jump into the Rohloff discussion with a few of my data points:
I have two Dean bikes with Rohloffs, a mtb and a randonneur. My mtb is a
29er and weighs 36# with dual suspension and S couplers while my rando
weighs 31# with fenders over 32mm tires, dyno hub, S couplers and f/r
lights.
Thanks for pointing that out Bill. I carefully measured CTC again and came
out with 24.75 which translates to 63.
It also looks like my asking price is too high so, my new price is $1800 +
shipping.

Gregg,
I have a 64cm A Homer Hilsen and with my 92 PBH, it's showing minimal
seatpost (lots of room for taller riders). If you're interested at all,
I'll send more details.

I rode Banff to Whitefish on the Great Divide last year. Beautiful territory
with some steep hills! I rode my Bridgestone XO-3 with 1.7 inch knobbies and
had no problems. And V-brakes were fine. I even think my touring bike with
37's would have been fine for 98% of the trail. That said, I'll
