Jacob, The ride to Steep Ravine was harder than I expected, but totally doable. I was in full sunlight the whole way there so I got pretty hot. I had to walk my bike a few times. But it only took 3.5-4 hours to get there. And I was going pretty slow. The ride back was overcast and easier. But

Homer was conceived as a MIT less expensive alternative to Homer/Saluki. Capability wise, they are about the same. They do fire roads and light to medium tours well. They are capable on roads but not pure road bikes. Now both are MIT. Not sure why both still appear. Sent from my iPhone

Hey David the saddle is from Obsidian Monarch it was a birthday gift from a friend of mine a few years ago...his friend makes these saddles in CA. I think he uses old Brooks frames and stretches new leathers over them and does some psychedelic artwork etching in the leather.
