Re: [RBW] HHH Run?
Ride 35-38mm tires. Bike height will drop. More SO clearance that way, -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. Re: [RBW] HHH Run?
My PBH is just shy of 77cm (just under 30in) and there is absolutely no extra room for stand over... I even lean the tandem a bit when stopped to keep me comfortable (and that's with 42mm tires). It only works because we both dismount at stops. It's truly too large for someone of my height and PBH, but it hasn't been a problem with starts or stops to date. The biggest issue is really when riding distance because it's just such a stretch. Ideally (for me anyway), the captain position would be smaller, but we've made it work. :) On Monday, October 22, 2018 at 8:51:58 PM UTC-6, Ginz wrote: > > I could probably survive with a stand over of close to 30” but, with a > tandem, wouldn’t I want some more? I could probably survive with a stand over of close to 30” but, with a tandem, wouldn’t I want some more? To be able to dismount more easily? Feels like it would be a lot to handle. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. Re: [RBW] HHH Run?
I'm height challenged with a 79 PBH, and the small fits using fatty rumpkin tires. The standover is not bad with a cm or two to spare (my 54 AHH has less standover), but the bottom bracket is fairly low. I don't have issues with it, but I could see where it might cause issues. [RBW] HHH Run?
Looks like there may be another run of the HHH tandem, maybe possibly. Man, if they could do the Gus Boots curved top-tube to increase the standover for smaller riders (5'4"), I'd seriously consider buying one, hanging it in my basement and awaiting the growth of my kids. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
