To be more clear: Grab seat tube just above bottle cage with right hand,
hoist bike, front wheel hanging down, to shoulder level, so that your arm
forms a very tight "L" bed, with fist just forward of your shoulder. Climb
your stairs.

I thought I'd jump back in about a month later to update with what I came
up with. I had a DIY lift a tube in the back of my mind these past few
weeks, and last week went to a hardware store for some lightbulbs and
decided to stand around in there looking for things I could use to make a

100 stairs would take a bit of time to get my hand strong enough to grip the

My Hunqabeam’s diagitube intersection with the seat tube makes a great thumb
“shelf” when I grab the seat tube to carry it. I miss beaing able to hook my
thumb under there on the Quickbeam for the same bits. Still, I carry the
Quickbeam the same way, grabbing the seat tube just where the tire
Jandd had a similar shoulder pad like the one in the photo above. Not sure if
they are still available.
