Clever! Though, if the bike were a Rivendell, I'd want something classier-looking. I'll be you could with reasonable ease, some thickish leather strapping, and pop rivets, come up with something equal in aesthetic effect to a Riv frame. BUT! I'd not add something like this unless I had regularly

My Hunqabeam’s diagitube intersection with the seat tube makes a great thumb “shelf” when I grab the seat tube to carry it. I miss beaing able to hook my thumb under there on the Quickbeam for the same bits. Still, I carry the Quickbeam the same way, grabbing the seat tube just where the tire
