I don't have a camp setup but I'll probably just bring some home brew and
hang out

I'll be there Friday, barring overindulgence at the driveway races thursday
night...

Would be interested in this as well! Downtown/east/central are all
convenient to me.

Nice, I'm pretty close to Burnet and Braker. Pease Park looks like a cool
option, closer to downtown and on the Shoal Creek trail. I'll post again
here when I've checked out some spots.

I'd be interested! I live in north central (Burnet & Anderson) and work a
bit norther (Burnet & Braker). Walnut creek is good, northwest park, Austin
State Hospital/Central Market, Pease Park, and on down by the lake are all
good. Depending on east-west orientation it's easy to get down to
Thanks, I'm enjoying it so far. Downtown could definitely work and would
probably draw a bigger crowd. I'll explore some spots next week and see
what I can find. Ideally something where people can sit facing each other.
I got a Niner ROS 9+. Rigid, steel, 29 x 3. It's my only bike right now so
I'd go to one if it started happening! Heat's starting to pick up, so it may be
worth doing it downtown near Mellow Johnny's (where there are free showers,
lockers, etc. for commuters). Or just near the creek :)
Welcome to town, btw. I'll admit to admiring your Sam frame on eBay (and here),
There was one meeting in Central Austin (downtown area) last year, but I
think it fell off.
