Jeff is really good at responding to questions and will help you with anything. Shoot him an email. BTW an adapter came with my Jones bar and Jeff has specific recommendations with using them. I own both, and the h-bar is much wider and reaches much farther back than a mustache bar. I like the m-bar but the h-bar gives far more control in rough stuff. I've used the Nitto stem adapter for h-bars, and it works fine. This is my impression as well the M bar and H bar don't seem similar at all. Other than being handlebars. The width and the sweep especially, is what interests. I used a Nitto adapter on my tandem also (now sold) and it worked great. I've never found any quill stem that uses a 31.8 clamp. So just get the adapter and a threadless stem.
