After I retire (Next June 2018), I'd love to visit the good people at
Rivendell. I've always said they're a great company and I'm lucky to own a
few rivs and they have all been great to work with. I consider them friends.
Also, as Tim says, they are sincerely glad for our business and support.
Brian, my Roadeo is one I bought off the list in 2013 and had repainted by Rick
at D, then built up by Mark at Riv.

This is one of the reasons I decided to spend full price on a new Joe. I wanted
to support a great business, with great people selling amazing bikes. I hope I
can make it there someday.

like I barely scratched the surface in telling how great everyone there is and
how welcome they make you feel. The visit was part of a 5+

people behind them in person, and then go for a ride with the designer.
Speaking of photos of Grant, the one in the current email evokes some kind
of bicycle shaman, perhaps coming down into town for supplies. Too cool!
Yes, good story, and good photos. I'm glad Grant is getting as old as I am.
Following miscellaneous links related to an iBob thread on trail, I came
across several articles about Grant and Rivendell, notably Gary B's
interview with Grant published in a 2007 Bike Radar edition. A good article

That's a great story! Reinforces how happy I am to do business with such
great people. I hope to visit there someday.
