Spent almost 4 hours at the expo. I enjoyed it as usual although I think last
year was a bit better with the exhibitors, however I am not going to complain
about having this event close to me. Made for a good afternoon of fun

Unfortunately, I have to miss the bike expo this year. I'm in San Diego for
work and couldn't get back in time. Still pretty bummed. Oh well!

Eric, your bike is gorgeous. Perfect proportions to my eye. I'm also in
Phila (650 Rambouillet) and would enjoy a local Riv ride.

Interesting, I was thinking only Toyo's featured water bottle mounts.
What's that color called? Creamsicle orange?

I'm definitely going to noodle with the Ergon grips. I think I might have
them oriented too vertically as you mentioned.
As for comparisons to the Roadeo...let's see. The Roadeo is a really
wonderful bike and is much
Is that a Toyo or Waterford build frame?

Hi, I might be wrong here, but are the Ergon grips set up so the wedge supports
your palm? In the photo it looks like the widest part is facing down rather
than horizontal to support the lower part of your hand. I haven't used ergons
but I thought they were designed for wider, horizontal

Thanks! I doubt the back pain is due to the downtube shifting, as I'm a
notoriously lazy shifter. I usually only shift if I absolutely have
to...even when running barends or thumbies. The lowering of the saddle
definitely helped, though I need another long ride to find out it that
Great bike! As a fellow AHH owner who rides through the Wissahickon
regularly, I would not feel bad if the upright bars don't work for you.
They don't work for me either. I have tried all sorts of alternate bars but
always end up back at 46cm Noodle bar.
I think you have to try different
Eric, your AHH is gorgeous! Could it be the back pain you experienced was
partly a result of the downtube shifter setup? Looks like a fair reach from
the bars to the shift lever.
Are my eyes deceiving me or is that a threadless steerer? Just curious. I
don't recall seeing many Hilsen's going
