Photos are down on my The Grid sites now, so the slow death continues and is now visible to the public. Good news, I’ll be using a combo of write.as and snap.as to post in the future, and will likely copy a few of the posts I saved to Evernote, similarly to when I left Flickr. With abandon,

Thank you for the generious offer, Jason. I’m too dim for WordPress, even with someone else actively doing tech upkeep on the back end, and I need my ministry blogs all on the same platform, so it’s best if it’s a simple enough solution I can run it. Which means pretty simple. Grin. The Grid is

I agree it would be great if you could export your content out of that grid site. I'd hate to see you lose all of those great posts. Maybe if support ever gets back with you you could ask if there's a way to export the content. Also, I'm a web designer by trade and would be happy to help you

Tony, snap.as is an extension of write.as, which is a blogging platform. So the short answer is yes, at least via the blog. As of now, text only per photo in snap.as, but I’ve asked if they can add an intro text under the gallery grid landing page. Here’s my brain injury ministry blog on

I had never looked into "the grid" before. Yikes. "AI designed web pages." I'm sure the founders have moved on to "Blockchain designed web pages" by now. I would normally advise you to export your posts/content and upload it to a Wordpress site your kids "build" you (5 min installation, +

I’m running a cargo site (caveat: V1 and for non bike stuff) and wouldn’t recommend it if Wordpress is too complicated. If it’s just photos and occasional writing, why not a tumblr or something more picture based? You could also just take screenshots of the writing and post it as an image. --
