[RBW] Re: replacement for an Irish strap?
I just picked up a lot of 27 U.S. Postal Service bundle straps on eBay (36 in x 1 inch wide with spring clamps). A friend from the U.S.P.S. gave me one of these a few years ago and it's so well-made it's been my favorite... I've always wanted to find more. I will make available at least a few to this group of interested (as I can't imagine I will need all 27). Stay tuned. there is an ebay vendor who has the black ones in choice of 4 different lengths, pair, for $6.24 shipped. search Coghlan's Arno Straps On Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 8:39:54 AM UTC-5, Philip Kim wrote: Yeah these are nice. Same length and width, same metal spring-loaded buckle? Or should I wait a few more weeks for Riv to have the real deal? for the crafty-minded among you, spring buckles and webbing can be found here: http://www.strapworks.com/Spring_Buckle_p/sb.htm Some of the webbing is even non-solid-colored :-) I'd bite, but I already have a huge supply of upcycled bike helmet buckles waiting for projects. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups RBW Owners Bunch group. [RBW] Re: replacement for an Irish strap?
Yup. Irish Straps are made by Arno. They are available everywhere. However, the very sweet striped pattern seems to be only available at Riv. I've looked all over when I was in your situation. In the end, I just waited till my next Riv order and bought a bunch of them.
